[DeTomaso] Why 2 different styles of front L type bumpers?

I wasn't aware there were two factory L bumper types. There are multiple 
manufacturers of fiberglas replica L bumpers, though.... And those mount only by 3 
small hex-bolts on each end. And the holes in the fenders the small bolts go 
thru are much oversized, allowing some shifting around for alignment. The rams 
and their big hex-bolts - which fit tightly on factory bumpers- are not used.
