[DeTomaso] NPC - GM Dex-cool help needed

Is it an issue with older engines?  I've used it in the all aluminun LS engined Vettes all along and I've never even heard an issue 
mentioned.  What black stuff are you talking about?  Maybe it works differently in iron blocks ad heads or a mix of metals.  Just curious.
