[DeTomaso] Fuel Line Question

     I don't know what guys are doing if they are running a half inch line from the bottom of the tank?  They must be drilling and tapping the bung at the bottom of the tank to 1/2" NPT?  It appears that the drain plug and a half inch fitting are about the same size,  so I don't think you could tap the drain plug to half inch?  Or maybe they are running a metric die over a piece of half inch pipe?  So,  what is it?  Enquiring minds want to know?  :-))
