[DeTomaso] HEADLIGHT ACTUATOR BINDING

Good day to all. I had the headlight moter, switch, and actuator fail a couple
of weeks ago and I am now replacing the moter, one of the stop switches, and
the nylon gear. The moter and switch work just fine. I can't get the new
brass gear in the actuator to do a full rotation without binding. I can put
the gear in and work the mechanism as though the moter was runing only to have
it bind after rotating about three quarters of the way around. It was heavily
greased. I disassembled it again and have it sitting in a cleaner for
reassembling tonight. But is there something I should know about using the
brass gear and should I grease or oil the works? Any help would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks in advance....again.
