  Grasp the right-side front wheel at 3- and 9-o'clock, and attempt to turn 
the wheel in and out (simulating the steering going left and right).   Since 
the left side tires are on the ground and the steering is locked, there should 
be no movement of the right tire.   You will likely discover that the tire 
turns in and out slightly, accompanied by a distinct klunking noise; if you peer 
around you'll see that the tie rod (inside the accordian boot) is moving up and 
down as you turn the wheel in and out.

The stock bushing is on the way out at 30K miles, and any Pantera that has 
60K miles on it will have a totally destroyed bushing.
