Yeah, I have heard that.  However, since my primary goal is learning, the
existing carb which works OK is a good starting point for mucking around.
I'd rather start with something that works than try to set up and jet
something new.  A year or two from now when it is time to rebuild this race
carb, I'll pull out the credit card and get something a little better suited
for the street and track days.
