[DeTomaso] Carb questions

Ah, good idea.  I have some gunk build up, so I will need to do a lot of
cleaning around the manifold.  I think I have some scrap 26 gauge metal
sheets and some snips around here somewhere...

I make a solid cover out of cardboard (using a carb gasket as a template), 
and when I pull the carb, I immediately put the cardboard cover in its place
and 
secure it with the nuts (finger tight), which has the added benefit of 
helping prevent losing the nuts.

You won't need to scrape any gaskets unless something has gone Seriously 
Wrong.
