[DeTomaso] NEED SOURCE FOR 180 DEGREE HEADERS FABRICATION

As I mentioned last week there seems to be a limit in the size of pipe
that can go through the suspension. I really did not want the 180's
because I would like the trunk space and I don't want them in the way of
everything.

I fabbed up a set to go over the suspension. The long tubes are not
attached yet, they just give an idea of where they are going:

These are two-2.25" pipes going back. With the wheel above the frame
their is still room. I don't think a real adequate clearance test will
be done till I get it on the road and see if I have indeed made enough
clearance for engine shift and suspension travel.

This is a 400 stroked 434 so the heads are an inch higher and out. My
plan at this point is to:
-build a test stand to get everything running again
-get the Deamon carb partly tuned
-build at least one different Webber manifold and get the Webbers partly
tuned (I have ideas of a different type of manifold I may try as well)

Once the engine is up and going with general tuning done, take to dyno
shop and run the old headers, the new headers and run each intake/Carb
with both headers to see the difference.

I got the connectors, O2 Bungs and EGT Bungs to finish the exhaust but I
am doing paper work today. We'll see if I make it out. I am almost out
of gas on the TIG and I am flying this weekend. Hope to finish the
headers by the end of the weekend then start on an engine test stand.
