[DeTomaso] IDA Webers - Power Enrichment

Weber question:

 

I realize the IDA Webers are intended for racing, so they may not have a
power enrichment circuit (power valves in Holleys).  On the other hand, I've
seen several people mention that they are fine for the street.

 

What gives?  How can IDA Webers survive on the street without fouling the
plugs really bad if you can't lean 'em out in high vacuum situations?

 

Fuel economy is one thing, but loading up the valves and combustion chamber
with carbon is another.
