used to use a scissors lift (Harbor Freight) - good for what it was - but you had to build ramps for it (or at least, I did) - it had to be fitted just right under the car - and if you have it in the bay you park in, you have to be careful each time you drive over it - I now have a bendpak 4 poster - love it - you will hear a lot about what 4 post lift is best (e.g., us or chinese), 2 post v. 4 post, etc. - I went with bend pack b/c it was $400 more than the cheapest lift i could find...so figured it was worth that for something born in the USA - good luck and pls let us know what you went with and how it works out! - thanks, stephen

Subject: [DeTomaso] drive on lifts

Dear all,
Anybody suggest a decent drive on lift for the Pantera? Something that could roll over to the other side of my garage with my suspensionless car
during the work? A big scissor jack thing with wheels....
Or any other ideas for a lift system that could go up maybe 2'-6' and be moveable? Drewmaster had one......
The garage is clean and big enough now to give it a go after a ruthless purge of unused crap in my way.
Ideas?

Thanks,
Matt Wells
