Well, celebrate carefully--that grinding is indicative of a maladjusted 
clutch.   100% of the adjustment takes place at the slave cylinder, by lengthening 
the rod (this presumes that you have successfully removed all the air from the 
system, which I wouldn't assume since you had to do the work yourself instead 
of the caveman technique with one person pumping, another working the bleeder 
and the third topping off the reservoir from time to time).

Drive it over to somebody's house for the final tweaks/adjustments, and THEN 
celebrate with them!
