[DeTomaso] 12v source

Michael,

Assuming your ECU will be either in the engine compartment or behind the
seats, I connect to the BATT Power input of the starter solenoid. This is
the large 5/16" terminal that the positive cable from the battery connects
to, not the one that connects to the starter. You'll need to crimp a 5/16"
ring tongue to your ECU's main constant 12V power lead. If you need to
extend the ECU's power lead, be sure to use the same or next size larger
wire gauge and a good quality Butt type crimp splice, crimped by the proper
crimping tool (not a pliers) and no solder. It's also a good idea to add
some protective sleeving around the ECU power lead as it can easily cause a
fire if it gets damaged and shorts to ground somewhere.

Subject: [DeTomaso] 12v source

Any suggestions for a switched 12v source that remains hot during cranking?
This is for the ecu of an injection set up.
Thanks!
