[DeTomaso] Does anybody use car bubbles for long term storage?

I have been doing this for 7 years and thus far no flat-spotting on tires. One could place them on cradles if that were a concern.

And getting the vehicle out of the Car Capsule (not rolling up the enclosure) is a bout a 15-minute job if it needed to be driven and another 15 minutes to close it back up.

In my case, during the Nov to early May months there are virtually NO days I would take it out for a ride so it would sit anyway. That is the challenge of owning such a vehicle at the 44th parallel.

That’s the other consideration, starting it monthly and running up to temperature, getting it rolling to prevent tires flat spotting etc. all requires removal and resealing of the bubble.

I drive mine every 2 weeks whether it needs it or not.  It wakes the neighbors  up on Sunday Mornings.
