I use a triac switch on my system, one set of contacts to lock out the compressor on low or high pressure and the other set to control the condenser fan based on system pressure.Forest

On the electrical diagrams I don't see the de-icer switch as anything
other than a simple 2 terminal on / off thermostatic switch, to stop
the system from freezing when it reaches the desired set point. On
early cars AC is wired so that the condenser fan only comes on with the
compressor and later cars the condenser fan runs whenever the AC system
  is switched on.

Look at SoBill's A/C electrical diagrams on Mike Dailey's Panteraplace,
there's a modification to add a Bueler 508TD time delay relay so the
condenser fan will run on a fixed period on early cars.

Working to source the parts for my AC and have realized that my AC
  switch,
referred to on Wilkinson's and Stock's sites at the AC de-icer switch,
  is a
two-connector version that does not provide proper control of the
  condenser
fan.  The stock switch has three connectors which provide for
  independent
control of the condenser fan, allowing it to keep running after the
  pump
  de-clutches.

Wilkinson's site listed the original 3-pin switch as 'no longer
  available',
and Larry Stock told me that the last three times he's ordered the
  switch,
they send the wrong one (2-pin) and he'd had to send them back.

Does anyone have an original 3-pin switch with the copper tube and
  copper
sheath?  Or, if you've had to install a 2-pin switch, what have you
  done to
allow the condenser fan to keep running after the pump disengages.

  Thanks
  Mike Thomas
(no so) Patiently waiting for 6328 to be delivered back home . . .
