[DeTomaso] Refinishing Wheels

Jeff,I know you are in D-FW region, but I have used "Coating By Coates"  for my mag wheels.  They are in NW Houston near US 290 & Tx 6.  He worked with me to blast them, then I did my chromate conversion coating & stress relieve the wheels before he did the powder coating.  He was the only powder coater I could locate who would even touch magnesium and understood stress relieving.  He was 125/wheel about 5 years ago.  I got the chromate conversion chemicals from an outfit in Atlanta Ga.

PS - Please note that I deleted all the prior messages (except for the 1 I am responding to) in this post as a courtesy to other members.
When I receive my digest of the day's DeTomaso messages I get dozens & dozens of pages of prior replys which makes finding and viewing the individual messages in the board a pain in the butt.  It's all a bunch of previous replys with a few messages hidden.
As a test, let's see if deleting the prior comments in this thread will help with that problem.

Subject: [DeTomaso] Refinishing Wheels

Anybody have suggestions on where to get mag wheels refinished?

Mine were powdercoated 20 some years ago and they are chipped. Need to =
remove powdercoating and prep for painting.

Thanks,

Jeff
