[DeTomaso] Anyone used ARP bell housing studs?

I know I can make studs that way, and can also buy less expensive studs.  I just love the way these look.  All the external fasteners on the ZF are  ARP stainless studs and 12 point stainless nuts.  Seems worth matching them if length is not an issue.   It looks like the top two may have to be about 1/2 inch shorter than the rest, but I'm not sure how far the studs can screw into the block.  I guess I and measure that tomorrow.

Ken,

I got long bolts (8 inches) of the appropriate size, cut the heads off and ground them to a point. Thread them in and they become locating pins. It’s super easy to slide the gearbox into place. Then bolt the remaining holes, remove the pins and fit the final two bolts.

Did I remember to bring this with me when I helped install a ZF a few weeks ago?  No, I did not. Would it have made life MUCH easier?  Yes it would!
