[DeTomaso] Overheating problem

I missed the SVO part, so my recommendations are for stock Cast Iron heads. Aluminum heads might be a little less if I could check the engine we have on my Dyno for better specs but the aluminum heads also differ between makes but I would ask Dan Jones specifically about different head types

SVO heads are far more efficient and probably need no more than 28-32 degrees total advance (not including vacuum advance). 


At least that’s what I’ve been told by people who actually know this stuff. I don’t pretend to myself, I just remember what I’ve been taught. 


And admit I could be wrong…but I don’t think I am!
