My local fuel injection specialties shop says they’re having good luck with the later Terminator X and Dual Sync parts. Wish me luck! 🤪

Holley tech is correct; the difference between a 351C dist. and a 351W dist. is the gear. As always, set the gear height on the shaft, according to the procedure that Ford recommends.
Dual sync distributors are notoriously unreliable, so as an alternative, consider using a Price Motorsports Cam Synchronizer and a crank trigger. The Price unit is very compact and uses OEM Ford electronics. Holley also make a 351C cam synchronizer but it is physically larger than the Price unit and uses proprietary electronics.
