[DeTomaso] Cable Shifter - Improvement?

This is not for me.  I'm helping someone plan for a restoration and they are
considering installing one.

I'm curious to what shifting issue you have with the rod shifter, that you
are trying to resolve?

Can anyone speak to personal experience with the SACC cable shift mechanism.
Curious if it improves the shifting.
