   So when you turn left, you are weight loading the r front wheel and then that is the bad bearing. More load makes a bad wheel bearing talk out loud. 
Rears are different as they are not subject to turning induced loads but lateral loadings. So for rears, you spin engine spin them up to 40+-mph and kill engine while holding down clutch. You will hear the noise/growl/rumble as they spin to stop with all other noises shut off. Only do this with wheels on as weight exaggerates the noise.
Bad wheel bearings don’t always have freeplay.
