[DeTomaso] Remote mirror controls

Jeff,

The shaft changes diameter just outside the case. It looks like you could remove no more than an eighth of an inch without having to contend with the larger diameter portion. 

I suppose you could also shorten the knob along with the shaft to reduce the overall height.
