[DeTomaso] Installing a cnc master clutch cylinder

Problem is that when you hack off the bubble flare and make a new inverted flare, you can't go back to a bubble flare. We either don't have enough line left and it keeps splitting when we attempt to put a new Bubble flare back on the end and we end up replacing the entire clutch line to go back to stock.

    Chris,

CNC has been out of business for years! Where did you get a new one?

Most people don’t fuss with adapters. They just cut and reflare the line with a new fitting.

Personally I would get a proper master that fit both the car AND the existing line, rather than hacking the car (in admittedly an extremely minor way) to accommodate an old, obsolete and possibly questionable part…..
