Another idea would be to disconnect the fuel line from the filter and blow a blast of compressed air through the fuel line backwards into the tank.  Be sure your gas cap is off.  If there's something lodged in the fuel line not allowing fuel to pass, this might dislodge it and restore flow. But you will need to clean out your tank too, otherwise it's likely to wind up clogging your fuel line again, and at the most inconvenient time possible!
