[DeTomaso] 1972 Project Car on BaT

Did anyone care to read the BaT auction comments, or y'all just throwing grenades from the bleachers?

Buyer purchased as a father - son project, yes one heck of a project at a price you and I might not have the pocket book to stomach, but as is often the case projects sell for more than their relative worth to folks who desperately want a Pantera by getting in on the low end, and trickling time and money into over a period. There are quite a few potential buyers out there searching, with very few cars available, add the BaT factor and it's easy to see how this got where it did. We have all seen worse condition taken on and restored, without having to steal a second one and chop shop it! We should all be reaching out to the buyer / son and welcoming them to the Pantera family as well as commending them on their efforts to save another Pantera whilst offering our collective help and wisdom.

Julian

My concern is someone will steal another pantera and do a vin swap.
