Has anyone looked at the BAT sales to get a handle on prices?

The highest was Ed's very high quality restomod, but it seems like there must be other factors.  How much is it the  "look"?  Are some colors just more attractive to buyers and many don't want to deal with getting the car repainted?  Is it bad to get too far from the stock interior, especially with other colors?  

I know Ed's car had a lot high quality work and very nice parts, but a quality restoration is also expensive, so did Ed get a better return on his $s than a restoration?  Was part of the high selling price that Ed's car just looks great to most enthusiasts?  Did an inventor buy Ed's car or someone who wanted a great looking mid engine GT?  

Ed, any ideas about the buyer?
