[DeTomaso] Pantera with Coyote engine swap

If I recall, Tim Meyer is reproducing an aluminum Cleveland Block,
spendy but all aluminum and cast better than stock.  Aluminum heads are
plentiful, along with super-good valves, springs, guides, rockers arms,
etc.  A roller cam and lifters are available in several flavors.  As far
as intakes go, there are square flange to accept a Holley pattern carb,
EFI or even something different.  Or you can get any number of other
independent running manifolds with vertical throttle bodies or
cross-ram.  With the special order machining services available today
you can even design your own. Design your own intake cover, air box and
signage and you could build your own flavor of 351C and make it look
super-cool modern.

It's only money.  But even after all that, you may end up spending less
than a swap for one of these high-end crate engines, and in a way be
closer to original.

Me?  I'd probably go the route I outlined above, only because I am so
familiar with the Cleveland.  Not an expert mind you (I leave that to
Dan Jones), but it's my most familiar engine.

Steve, yes, it take a lot of stout stiffening to cure the stress cracks
in the back.  Think of it as a badge of honor at this point. :)
