[DeTomaso] Looking for dropped battery box designs

Building up the box/tray for my dropped battery in 6328 and I'm looing for a
few descriptions and/or pics of what others have done. I've seen the sheet
metal 'box' that I believe one of the vendors offers, and I also recall
discussion on this forum that you don't really need an enclosed box but that
a tray that's open on the sides will do just fine as there is little to no
risk of damage to the battery from road debris. I've attached a pic of the
hole I've cut so far, but know it needs to be longer (toward the pedal box).

I'd also be interested to hear from those who've dropped their batteries
what you've done to re-run the battery cables under the trunk floor and
where you've located the ground stud. I'd like to run them under the trunk
floor to declutter the space as I'm also going to run the passenger front
brake line under that space as well.

Thanks as always, all thoughts and comments welcome.
