[DeTomaso] Nice Looking 72 on ebay

I finally got to see the pics on the iPad and you’re right! Front and rear bumpers are the same. 

However something decidedly odd is going on here. This car has 1971 bumpers, 1971 seats, 1971 dash and in all respects appears to be a late 1971 or early 1972 car, apart from the ribbed decklid.  The missing ‘pull for air’ knob suggests it’s a Jan or Feb 1972 car in the 20xx or 22xx serial number range, or in that neighborhood. The purported VIN is for a much later car however. 

Very strange…flashing yellow light!  Putting a hot chick in the photos seems a bit contrived, almost like they are hoping we won’t notice the many irregularities?
