Peter,

Literally hundreds of Panteras are being started by these things:

https://www.dbelectrical.com/products/ford-mini-pmgr-starter-302-351-manual-transmissions-3223-sfd0012.html<https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.dbelectrical.com%2Fproducts%2Fford-mini-pmgr-starter-302-351-manual-transmissions-3223-sfd0012.html&data=04%7C01%7C%7Cb3e2d270e8214516ae4d08d8ec8e8406%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C637519444125869787%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C1000&sdata=l4XIV3B8JyNYUZHudng1J21yrUVeNSdABEUndhN0hOU%3D&reserved=0>

When you order it, be sure to specify that you want the free wiring kit. It’s a no-cost option that is needed to convert the wiring from a conventional setup with a firewall-mounted solenoid.

Cheers!

Mike

   Hi All,

I am making great progress (finally) on 4475.I just put in an aluminum
radiator and bought a sacrificial anode.Where would be the best spot
to mount it? I have stock engine +heads. The instructions say to mount
  it inside a radiator hose.

Also want to buy high torque starter. Will any starter that fits 72
mustang fit on the P? Or are there different flywheels used?

  Thanks

  Peter
