Peter,

Literally hundreds of Panteras are being started by these things:

https://www.dbelectrical.com/products/ford-mini-pmgr-starter-302-351-manual-transmissions-3223-sfd0012.html

When you order it, be sure to specify that you want the free wiring kit. It’s a no-cost option that is needed to convert the wiring from a conventional setup with a firewall-mounted solenoid.

Cheers!

Mike

   Peter,

Literally hundreds of Panteras are being started by these things:

   [1]https://www.dbelectrical.com/products/ford-mini-pmgr-starter-302-351
   -manual-transmissions-3223-sfd0012.html

When you order it, be sure to specify that you want the free wiring
kit. It's a no-cost option that is needed to convert the wiring from a
conventional setup with a firewall-mounted solenoid.

   Cheers!

Also want to buy high torque starter. Will any starter that fits 72
mustang fit on the P? Or are there different flywheels used?
     Thanks
