[DeTomaso] How much does a ZF weigh?

I've used YRC for ZF's twice and a few of sets of cylinder heads. As said below, service and rates are really good, particularly if you can drop off at the terminal, even better if your party can pick up at their end terminal.

Just shipped the race car engine to Houston via YRC wooden crate on pallet 40Lx33Wx37H and 700lbs (didn't have scales with capacity so erred on side of caution) and it was $219. I thought that was damn good and it will be there Tuesday if I drop it to the terminal tomorrow.

Julian

Gear box is about 175, Our Wooden Crates are about 30 pounds, that's 205, they penalize if your underweight so say 225 if you put that on a small light pallet.
Mike's in Washington, where USF Reddaway is king of Northwest trucking

I want to say shipping in a tough tote on a small pallet it was 190lbs
all in. I find YRC to be the lowest rate, dropping to a terminal helps
       keeps cost down.

Working a quote for shipping a ZF and need to know how much they weigh.
       Seems it's around 150 lbs.

       Thanks, Mike Thomas
