[DeTomaso] BaT No Sale at $135K for a Hall GT5-S Conversion

Not sure about:
"$135k was all the money and then some for this car. It will never be worth close to what a really GT5-S is worth."
Guess I'm a sucker for aluminum blocks, suspension, etc. If someone wants what the black car is, and it can be confirmed to be rust free and needs virtually nothing, I suspect it would probably cost more than $135K to duplicate it. If you buy a driver and have a reputable shop take it to bare metal and make all the mods, I'd guess well over $135K when you are done?
It would be interesting to hear from the shops (Wilkinson, Byers, Stock, etc) what it would cost to duplicate, and add the cost of a clean driver needing paint, maybe rust repair, etc., maybe $60K presently???

for crazy prices.
If a restomod Pantera is done right, why be so critical? I would not
