Thomas, the Vader window lift system uses modern electric motors and regulators from some unknown model of Ford, from which the cable drive window lifts were adapted (extensively!). It's all included in Ted's kits along with new window guides. Mine are now about 25 years old with not a lick of trouble, installed easily and retract the stock glass all the way down.Cheers- J Deryke

Has anyone attempted this modification on the later regulators with the
French motors (Ducellier?)? No idea if the regulators are the same, but
the later ones does not have any crank support at least.
While the regulators in my 84 GT5 works, they are slow. I haven't done
attempt at adjusting them, so perhaps that's all that is needed.

Thomas
