HaHa Jerry. Ditto. 1975 found a 1930 Model A scattered all over a farmers field in Michigan.
Trailered it all home. Luckily my dad was a machinist and before that, a Ford mechanic at
Dean & Harris Ford. Good learning experience for me. Still runs today.

    Bless his little pointed head.

The first rule of street rodding is "If you are going to individualize
your car radically and don't finish, you now have a car no one likes."

Of course there is the " rough but restorable", " it might buff out", "
they stopped making these in 1972", The serial number is for a car that
there are only 6,000 of that year with the same paint". etc.

In my limited scope of virtual reality, I don't think I could look at
that car for even the reserve price considering the out gassing of the
fiberglass and rust potential of the body, every piece of rubber will
need to be replaced. The is an unlimited number of hours in a
restoration. 10 to 30k in bodywork and 10k in paint, new tires, new
interior, cleaning every part that is off the car and buying new bolts
    for everything.

Been there, done that, got the "T" shirt, wore it out, 50 years ago with
a 1934 Ford sedan delivery that was setting in a field and used for
    target practice.

    YMMV,
