Jim,
You have supported us at so many races now, and are truly a very real
member of the Patent It! Race Team. You are so knowledgeable about he
Pantera brand and details that you have got to be tired of us telling all
the visitors to "Talk to Jim about that."
We have bad internet access, so I can't post much now.
Briefly, of all of our racecars over the years at all levels (pro, desert,
vintage) the reception received by a Pantera at this incredible event,
racing at 110 percent door to door, was unreal. After every session,
literally hundreds of people came by to ask about the car. And, as a group
3 car, with only careful/necessary mods, they loved the originality of the
car (thank you, Asa Jay). I am glad we waited until it was done to make
this appearance at the biggest vintage race of the year. We still have to
make it through tomorrow.
Tomorrow are our two main races. I will share all pictures and results in
a Google Drive folder with a much more detailed writeup when we get home.
We also have HD 360 in car video we will try to upload.
Finally, thanks to all the POCA members that stopped by and said hello and
for the technical advice and support received by this club over the last
few years. We would not be racing without POCA.
Steve.
