When you say `this happened to me' you aren't referring to a decklid
smashing, windshield breaking crash, but instead to the front hood
bowing under vacuum and popping open, right?
Hood vents are effective in preventing this I think, but unnecessary at
speeds below 140 or so mph, I reckon...l
