Sounds like a couple door chains might be a good ideal (when those 180 spins occur)

This has happened to me at Silver State while running 155+ mph. First it was startling. Now I leave the hood unlatched. Low pressure over the center of the hood causes it to bow a bit , resulting in the hood pin to pull out of the catch. The hood rises up about 2 inches. Mark

When Junior Wilson spun (multiple times) in his big wreck at over 200 mph, on the first half-spin, the wind caught the unlatched decklid, flipped it up and over and smashed it down onto the roof and windshield. The inertia caused it to bend down as it smashed the windshield and because the car was black, he thought he had flipped upside down. He was still upright though, and continued to spin around and around until the car finally left the road and partially buried itself in the desert.
