[DeTomaso] Pedestal-puck-puck-mount or Pedestal-puck-mount-puck ?

All:

I have to vote with Thomas on this one. In order to manage both acceleration and deceleration torque the rubber pucks must be on both the top and bottom of the engine side of mount.

If you've ever played with a car with a broken engine mount, you can watch the torque lift the engine right off the lower rubber. Common in some older cars and has been known to cause the throttle linkage to bid resulting in a jammed wide open throttle. (Can't happen in a Pantera due to the through bolt type mount.)

Having rubber on the top side of the Pantera engine side of mount bracket is critical.

Additionally, having two pucks under the engine mount causes the engine to sit too high creating more clearance problems with the firewall and the deck lid.
