Corey -

Finding only a bit of surface rust is a real blessing. Do you feel like you dodged a bullet? When I was restoring 5638, I was scared to death that my body man was going to find a bunch of cancer. I was incredibly relieved when I stopped by the shop after the car was stripped, and there was only an area, 1/4” at the base of the passenger A-pillar, that had a tad of rust. We decided not to POR-15 the area, just nibble it out and replace the little bit of metal. It was a far cry from my grandfather’s car (6665), that was acid dipped. It came out of the tank looking worse than Swiss cheese.
