[DeTomaso] Temp Gauge Started Bouncing

I had a crimp connecter hide the issue. Wire looks to be fastened well in the crimp but a small tug pulls the wire out of the crimp. That issue can cause an intermittent connection and cause the meter to bounce, as Mike said.

Lori’s car had exactly the same symptoms and as Forest suggested, the cause was the failure of the crimp-on connector at the sender. I replaced it with a ring terminal and a nut for a more secure connection.
