I think the color perceived in your attached image is more likely the body filler, primer layer. color, 

not the final body color.

This is the original article that if I recall Larry Finch posted to the list, I read another where Kevin got to a pond, but suffered
life threatening injuries that he later succumbed to.

Can you send me the (digital)photo ?

The car was not yellow earlier, it was red/maroon in the registry pics.

He inherited the car from his dad, who was the long term owner.

I saw that one of our fellow Pantera owners, Kevin Vossen, died in The Zogg
Fire, which may have been caused by outdated PG&E equipment.

The news story says he was getting his muscle cars into a safe area when the
fire overcame him. One photo shows a yellow Pantera  halfway out of a barn
with a collapsed roof. Did he lose his life trying to rescue his Pantera?

This is really, really sad. I can't say I recognize his name but he looks
like one of the NorCal brothers I met in Monterey.
