[DeTomaso] DynaMat cabin roof experience??

All,

I have used lizard skin and layers of Dynamat on the floor and firewall and I’m now considering a layer of Dynamat on the cabin roof. 

As for the headliner it will be a new foam backed modern style fabric and I believe I will be gluing it to a proper sized sheet of hobby store foam core board, as I know one other owner has successfully done. 

My first concern is how the Dynamat adhesion holds up when parked for long hours in full sun. Any sagging or odor bake off?

Another concern is the headroom I might lose if I use Dynamat, the foam core board and headliner material. Anyone have direct feedback on their experience?
