[DeTomaso] This looks like a Push-Button but

All cars in the registry should have a picture of the vin number along with pictures of the cars .

Agreed! The registry is such that owner control requires VIN plate photos. If an owner sends in some body photos,

he earns 'shared' access. To gain owner access, VIN pics must be received.

Getting VIN pics can still seem like pulling Tiger teeth!

See the registry # 7445 and 7446 Also Euro's

This car has 71 pushbutton doors euro side marker lights 73 rear bumper with a 71 decklid, custom driving lights and an interior
that belongs to a 74 Pantera

Its a frankenpantera!

If this is an original Factory Push-Button (remember that at least one guy retrofitted Push-Buttons) then

I believe this was built in 1971, Jan thru March, ( or even one of the prototypes from 1970). (Push-Button door features.)

An advert lists a 1975 date. I believe this is the First Registration date (not date of manufacture).

So perhaps this car sat around from early 1971 until it was sold (First Registration Date) in 1975.

Then.

I have seen a German Title Document which indicates the car was certified with 7" front wheels and 8" wide rear wheels.

So at a later time (Post-1975) the body received the flares and wider wheels

no earlier than around 1980, with the introduction of the GT5 body style.

Taking a look at the Foot Box VIN plate. the stamping appears to correctly match the factory font.

Note the position of the VIN stamp line (for and aft). Could it be a little high (aft) or low ? (distance from brake booster)

Chuck
