[DeTomaso] Gas line connections for pantera

Brian,

The stock setup was a metal pipe from the pump to just short of the carb, then a short length of rubber hose to connect it to the carb. 

I believe on the fuel pump end, it used standard flared tubing connectors:

Assuming you have a brake tubing flaring tool, this is extremely easy to do. 

The 2-3 inch rubber hose is an important detail to provide vibration isolation. If the hard like was solid from one end to the other, I guess they thought it might fatigue and crack. 

The line was clamped to the front of the engine, I believe using some of the threaded holes on the front of the cylinder head? I can?t remember though. You can clamp it wherever you like but be sure to use vibration-damping Adel clamps:
