You should have asked me when we had lunch together ten minutes ago! :)

Short answer is ‘no’ but very early cars had four-digit stampings on all sorts of trim parts such as the ‘gills’ behind the side windows, chrome trim pieces, decklid hinges, pedal/brake booster bracket, etc. Numbers were also written in chalk on the back side of door panels, rear panel, trunk tub etc. 

But on your L-model? No....
