[DeTomaso] Pantera included in Classic Motorsports web article

L = Lusso (luxury), but you can't blame the Italians the impact bumper was US mandated! Given the constraints they had I think they did a pretty decent job, have you see the ugly accouterments on a '74 E-type jag or Lamborghini Countach?

Is there an Italian curse word for "ugly bumpers" that starts in "L" and thus the birth of the L model distignation?
