[DeTomaso] Battery Cable Ends, OK to solder?

If I recall soldering automotive wires makes them brittle and less tolerant to the vibrations inherent in automobiles and prone to more electrical failures. Probably not something the automobile industry wants. I would venture to guess the cost of soldering each and every connection would be labor intensive and cut into their bottom lines. Paul
