Mike,

I agree .25” would be easily accommodated by adjustments. 

But, as I wrote, the difference I found between Steve’s and the Alfa Romeo mounts was .75”

Personally, I deem that to be a sufficiently large difference that the available adjustment at the two ends of the mount assembly may or may not be enough to properly locate the mufflers.
