Ken,

Jeff Cobb has no Pantera experience but has a repair shop in Baton Rouge. He has a prototype Mangusta, as well as an Espada, Bora and Ghibli I believe, so he is definitely simpatico. I’m sure he could handle the job.

Of course, given that you are a member of SCPOCA, a much more enjoyable route might be to haul it to one of their legendary tech sessions, where the guys who can change engines in their sleep can pop the drivetrain out, fish out the tank, and then either have it repaired or replaced. If you had a replacement tank ready to go, they could easily have the tank changed out and the car driving again in less than a day.

(I once participated in a tank change party in Northern California and we started at 9, fixed a bunch of other problems along the way and the car was running again by 3 in the afternoon).

If you aren’t on the SCPOCA forum yet, you should get signed on there too.

Cheers!

Mikeb
