[DeTomaso] NPC, New Shingles 2 Part Inoculation

I have visions of a TV commercial;

Have you or a loved one died from or suffered unnecessary pain from the shingles virus? It is has been proven that *most* POCA members are at risk of contracting the virus, this is significantly higher than the national average! We believe POCA needs to be held accountable for it's actions and negligence regarding shingles, contact us immediately for a free assessment of your eligibility in this class action lawsuit.

Meanwhile, POCA's answer to reduce apparent solvency is to 'invest' most of the organizations accumulated funds in hotel rooms in Las Vegas on a guaranteed fill rate for an obscure date when no one will show up.

On a more serious note I feel for anyone whom has suffered through the pain of shingles, I understand it is a particularly nasty little bugger.

Dear Michael and Forum,

                     The new shingles vaccine is pricey, but given that *most* POCA members are at risk to develop shingles---compared to a single trip to the ER and/or to the weeks and months of doctor visits and pain medications of narcotic and non-narcotic type----its price is a pittance.

                    I took the old shingles vaccine and need to follow my own advice and take the new one.  Thanks for the reminder.

Yikes! Thanks for the heads up. I've been waiting for that to be available, glad to hear they are finally shipping. I've heard it is expensive, hopefully my insurance will cover it.
